First Semi-Final Prediction: Taylor Fritz vs Jenson Brooksby

Bottom Half

6th seeded Maxime Cressy returns home after a good stint Down Under and awaits a qualifier in the first round and will take on the winner from the match between wildcard entrant Caleb Chakravarthi and another qualifier. Veterans Kevin Anderson and Sam Querrey will battle in the first round and will take on American veteran and 3rd seeded John Isner in the second round with Isner getting a first round bye.

5th seeded Adrian Mannarino starts against Steve Johnson with the winner set to take on the victorious player from the match between Yoshihito Nishioka and wildcard entrant Mitchell Krueger. Denis Kudla awaits a qualifier and is likely to take on 2nd seeded Reilly Opelka who gets a first round bye.

Second Semi-Final Prediction: Reilly Opelka vs John Isner

Semifinals

It could be the second meeting between Fritz and Brooksby since they played a thrilling 4-set match in the 2nd round of the 2021 US Open. While Fritz comes into the tournament from a 4th round appearance at the 2022 Australian Open, Brooksby will make his debut on the ATP Tour having played earlier in the Columbus Challenger and making a semi-final run there.

In another all-American semi-final, Isner will take on Opelka in their 5th career meeting and their first meeting since they last met in the 2nd round of the 2019 Atlanta Open where Opelka won for the 3rd straight time. Both of them played at the Australian Open with Opelka getting knocked out in the 3rd round while Isner suffered a shocking first round defeat.

Dallas Open Final: Taylor Fritz vs Reilly Opelka

Final

It could potentially be the 9th meeting between the two Americans and their 7th on the ATP Tour. Fritz currently leads Opelka 7-1 in their head-to-head and will be the favourite this time as well given his slightly better run of form coming into the tournament.

Champion: Taylor Fritz
