Yesterday, Tekashi 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was slapped with a two-year prison sentence for his role in a racketeering and weapons case. However, Hernandez might only have to serve a 13-month prison sentence.
When the verdict was handed down by the judge, social media began discussing the implications of it, including what he’s likely to do following his release. However, perhaps the most interesting aspect of the discussion came from Charlamagne Tha God.
As The Breakfast Club fans know, Charlamagne Tha God has long been a critic of the New York rapper’s marketing strategies and behavior outside of the music industry. Additionally, last year, Charlamagne Tha God allegedly said he would give Hernandez oral sex if he was able to beat the case.

Tank previously poked fun at Charlamagne for his remarks earlier this week. The Breakfast Club host, however, fought back and stated that if Tekashi 6ix9ine never would’ve snitched on anybody, he never would’ve received time off.
Following the news of Tekashi 6ix9ine’s sentencing, Charlamagne the Sirius XM Radio host, Gray Rizzy, took to his Twitter to joke about Charlamagne’s reaction. You can check it out below:

As it was previously reported, Tekashi 6ix9ine was slapped with a 2-year prison sentence after he was involved in a racketeering case along with other members of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. However, due to his stellar cooperation with the government, prosecutors promised the artist he would receive a much lighter sentence.
Initially, Tekashi 6ix9ine was looking at a very long and grueling time behind bars, with some reports stating he would receive upwards of 47 years in prison. Hernandez reportedly told the authorities what they wanted to know which later helped his case, according to Page Six.

Tekashi 6ix9ine testified in front of the court to put away his former associates, including Aljermiah Mack, and Anthony “Harv” Ellison. Another bombshell revelation from the case was the allegation that 6ix9ine used the gang for “street cred” and “protection,” and was never really considered an official member of the group.
