'He does this with everything'

Siddiq discussed an Instagram video on the 1998th episode of 'The Joe Rogan Experience', in which the former boxing champion Mayweather is seen selling off his Nike Air Force 1 collection. According to Rogan, Mayweather's exorbitant spending habits and luxurious lifestyle may have generated a persistent demand for money. “Come on, man. He needs that money. That money has to keep coming in. If you’re gonna live like this, he’s only 46. But he does this with everything, man. He’s got a million-dollar watches,” Rogan said.

Siddiq, on the other hand, had a different opinion on the topic. He suggested that Mayweather donated his shoes to charity, allowing him to benefit from tax write-offs. “I don’t think he buys every pair. Because then you get a video like that, and then you get Floyd’s Air Force Ones given away for charity. That’s the tax write-off and all sorts of things,” he explained.

This is not the first time that people have speculated about Mayweather's fortune. It has been a source of contention among many, but no one knows the actual wealth of the former champion. However, the need for money as a result of his lavish spending habits and the potential tax benefits from charitable donations can possibly explain his involvement in the recent ring and shoe-selling ventures. Rogan also noted that he finds it intriguing that Mayweather is paid more for fighting demonstrations than most professional fighters.

Mayweather faced John Gotti III inside the FLA Live Arena on Sunday, June 11, in Sunrise, Florida. He has also previously fought KSI's brother Deji as well as TV personality Aaron Chalmers. Mayweather continued his trend of taking on exhibition fights, this time against veteran MMA fighter Gotti III. However, the fight turned out to be quite intense. The participants trash-talked each other for the first five rounds of the eight-round demonstration bout, continuing to shout at each other despite repeated warnings from referee Kenny Bayless. It eventually led to Bayless disqualifying the fights, putting an end to the bout after its sixth round. Moreover, Gotti III received a six-month ban from the commission because he had continued attempting to throw punches at Mayweather even after his disqualification.
