Usually, it’s marriage and then babies. However, lots of couples have been doing it the other way around.
In the time of COVID-19 preventing the gathering of large groups, many people have had to put their dream wedding on hold indefinitely. After postponing it twice, Lala Kent revealed on her podcast that they’ll be pushing their nuptials to next year because she doesn’t want to be the source of anyone getting sick and she doesn’t want to look back at photos from the big day and see people wearing masks.
Now, Randall Emmett has revealed their new wedding date of July 2021 and even dropped the bomb that they are actively working on having a baby.
It’s clear that they’re serious because the Vanderpump Rules star is tracking her cycle as accurately as possible.
‘We are on the Flo app. We are on the apps. Lala, whatever day it is, she comes in, she says, ‘Give me a baby!’ and then I hop right to it. We have our normal course of being together, and then the moment comes, and she’s just like, ‘It’s Friday at 3 o’clock. You are not going anywhere. So yes, we are working on it. It is only a matter of time,’ the producer spilled to US Weekly.
Kent has been vocal about wanting to be a mom in the past so this isn’t a huge surprise. However, it does seem a bit rushed considering that the craziness of quarantine had Lala ready to call it quits and go back to Utah just months ago.
‘Instead of it being like, ‘Oh, ok, I need to give more love,’ I take it as a personal attack. In my mind I was moving out. I was so dramatic about it. I’m like, ‘I’m taking my f****** dog with me.’ Because you’re stuck with someone day in and day out, you can only offer so much love to someone in quarantine before you’re like, ‘I need a f***** break. I don’t want to love on you. I want to watch Real Housewives of New York and I need you to shut the f*** up.’ And he wasn’t doing that.’

This was a much tamer fight than they usually have so maybe the communication has been improved behind the scenes to where the couple feels comfortable enough to welcome a baby into the world during these unprecedented times.
