JUST two farmers from the latest series of Farmer Wants A Wife have emerged with success stories after the others were left with a case of "achy breaky heart".

Farmers Frank and Trent - and their partners Tenille and Steph - are the only success stories from this series.

Kev, 33, is devastated after his flame Fiona dropped him before last night's finale.

Tim, 29, has broken up with his pick Izabella since the final program was filmed six weeks ago.

Both farmers have headed back home to lick their wounds.

Victorian farmer Kev is still hurting after having to admit on national television that he had been dumped by NSW paramedic Fiona, 25.

"I was devastated," Kev said. "She decided it was going to be too hard for her with the travel - she didn't want to pursue things any further.

"She knew where I lived when she applied. She probably should have thought about it a bit more before she went on the show."

Tim admitted he was the one who called it quits with West Australian lawyer Izabella, 31.

In last night's finale, Izabella said that she would be willing to finish up with her legal career to move to Tim's farm.

"She probably sensed something was up," Tim said. "Things weren't as lovey dovey as they could have been at that stage of the relationship."

South Australian farmer, Trent, and his chosen girl, Steph Marshall, are still happily together one month after they filmed the Channel 9 show's season finale.

"It could be the beginning of something special," Trent says.

"I've made some great friends and after this experience I think I may have found what I'm looking for. We just seem to click."

Steph, a pediatric nurse, says she's lucky to have found a "genuinely nice guy".

Channel Nine has since announced that an eighth series of the dating show will air in 2012.
